CH Robinson

A collaboration that reflects the mission

We had the privilege of supporting C.H. Robinson in the design of its new spaces. It was a smooth, structured collaboration, driven by a team with clear priorities and fully engaged in every decision. The goal: to create an environment that mirrors their mission, making logistics simpler, more reliable, and more efficient, by translating into space the same promise of rigor, performance, and support.

Two teams, one frictionless organization

The project had three objectives: to keep two distinct operational teams under one banner, to optimize performance through an organization that minimizes interference between workflows, and to deliver a coherent, professional visitor experience aligned with the brand identity. Circulation routes were therefore carefully planned: controlled entry, dedicated zones, and managed flow. Clients and partners are guided from reception to the central boardroom and meeting areas without passing through sensitive zones, while leadership retains cross-access between both sectors.

A Japandi signature, subtle and welcoming

The concept is built on a contemporary interpretation of Japandi: a timeless, understated, calming environment. Simple, low-profile forms; intuitive circulation; a palette of natural materials, wood, granite, touches of charred wood, and warm, diffused, indirect lighting. Textile textures and sheer curtains soften the overall feel and contribute to acoustic comfort. Built-in furnishings are designed as volumes placed within the space, creating a more human, less institutional atmosphere, where greenery integrates organically.

Strong moments and controlled performance

Key moments are concentrated around the entrance, the heart of the project, framed by openwork partitions that filter views and orchestrate a gentle transition toward the offices or the kitchen. Integrated phone booths sit beneath a floating architectural soffit, a clear landmark that structures the open area. A major challenge guided the design: controlling noise pollution, particularly from mechanical systems and collaborative zones, through integrated, durable solutions.

All of this was delivered under non-negotiable constraints: compressed timelines tied to relocation, a capped turnkey budget, strict corporate standards, and technical choices that are easy to maintain. A project where space becomes a tool, serving performance, operational clarity, and a consistent brand experience true to C.H. Robinson’s DNA.
