Projet Notre-Dame
The art of renovating a heritage building from 1880!
This Old Montreal-based client hired us to handle the overall management of its renovation project, which aimed to increase the value of this 5-storey, 70,000-square-foot architectural gem. An $8 million project. In less than a year and half, we completed the entire base building work, demolished the existing interior fit-outs, installed new mechanical and electrical systems, replaced all elevators, and built two offices that occupy two entire floors of the building. This 18th century building posed numerous challenges, but we succeeded in making the necessary adjustments to avoid diverging from the initial plan that had been agreed upon with our client. Thanks to these efforts, the client was able to lease its commercial spaces for a higher rate.
